Speechless Sunday- San Francisco's 49ers Played A Memorable Game!

The San Francisco 49ers played an incredible game tonight. I remember the days of Jerry Rice- that gives away my age:) I remember the days my father took me to as many 49er games as he was on leave to take me to. I loved going to the stadium to watch our favorite team play. My paternal grandparents lived in San Francisco for over 50 years. I guess you know who I wanted to win tonight and go to the Super Bowl!!!

Yes, sometimes it feels that I left my heart in San Francisco....

You can move the girl from the west but you can not take the west out of the girl....

I think these seals at Fisherman's Wharf are sharing their opinion about their 49er's losing the big game tonight....

San Francisco Sailing

My mother's favorite sport was sailing. She dreamed of sailing from San Francisco to Fiji but was not able to fulfill that dream. We just came back from spending an awesome week in San Francisco- home to my family for many, many years. When I saw this boat sailing in the San Francisco Bay my thoughts turned to my mother. She painted gorgeus paintings of San Francisco scenes and we have one of the Golden Gate Bridge and another one of the Bay Bridge that my mother painted.

When we are young in our teens all that we really think about is ourselves and are sort of oblivious to all the beauty around us. As I grew up in and around San Francisco and the bay area for a part of my life ( when I was not in Europe or Asia- yes, I was a Navy Brat), I never paid a whole lot of attention to all that San Francisco is and the history of the city.

AREAA Wrap Up in San Francisco!

AREAA 2011 National Conference in San Francisco was a big success and I am very honored to have been invited.

Thank you to Lina Chu- Founding President of Asian Real Estate Association of America- Inland Empire Chapter- who invited me to speak on the technology panel where it was standing room only.

Herman Chan is SO funny! He really had the crowd laughing. Herman is a video blogger (vblogger) and shared his top tips to doing video blogging. He has been on HGTV and many other TV shows. He is a San Francisco celebrity realtor®.

John Reyes from OpenHousesInc.com gave some great stats on why it is important to get into social media and how agents are still not using social media in the right ways.

Yi showed us about the mobile apps that realtor.com has put out there and how the consumers are using this tool.

Then I spoke about how to create your brand around a niche market that is hungry for what you have to offer them and how these kinds of websites can get to the top of Google within days and how to add ActiveRain blogging to the mix.

Thank you to Aurora Pucciarello who invited me to host one of the business development roundtables as a technology coach.

This was a very well attended event with over 1500 attendees. There were some great REO break out sessions conducted by asset managers from many different lenders like Wells Fargo and Fannie Mae and asset companies like PEMCO.

Of course I can not write this post without mentioning what a star our little guy was during this event and what a big helper he was for me. Thank you for being with me- my shadow:)
