The PGA Golf Honda Classic starts this week at the PGA National Golf Course in Palm Beach Gardens Florida and while you are at the Honda Classic you may just decide to look at your next 'Escape To Your Own Oasis' estate home home at 5 Rabbits Run in PGA National.

The Heineken Terrace is overlooking the 10th Tee and the main practise green. They will be hosting cold drinks and great golf viewing.

FPL has their own pavilioin overlooking the 17th Green and offers theatre style seating and flat screen tvs. There is also great viewing from the pavillion of the Honda Classic. They will host interactive activities and a cool mist zone.

St Mary's Kids Boxes and Autograph- Here the kids get to watch golf action from special kid boxes located on the 17th and 18th Greens. There is an autograph station set up behind the 18th Green to get your favorite golfers autographs.

Saturday is designated as Family Day. If you are one of the first 500 kids through the gate you will get a giant golf ball and a sharpie pen to get all the autographs that you want!  Saturday at 3 p.m. Radio Disney will be doing face painting, a WII Challenge Station, arts and crafts and much more.  You can even drop off the kids at 6 p.m. for a free day care Radio Disney dance party!

Friday night and Saturday night there will be live bands and fireworks!

Please make special note of items that are prohibited to bring in to the Honda Classic:

NO electronics are allowed, including cell phones, PDA's, metal objects, radios, TVs, signs or banners. NO beverages, no coolers, NO bags bigger than a 6 inch by 6 inch purse, no backpacks, No Diaper Bags!  No Cameras and no Camera bags!

I strolled along the outside perimeters of the property both front and back soaking in the amazing wildlife birds and views that each offers. One of the problems with Golf course living is that you might have a gorgeous view in the back over a golf course but you can hear your neighbor take a shower with mostly zero lot line homes. But this home is different. It offers the ultimate in privacy. I could see nor hear any neighbors to the front, side or back of this grand golf estate for sale in Palm Beach County Florida. The way the home is designed I know this is what the architect had in mind. I went for a walk behind the lot lines at the back of the property; I could see only green foliage, golf course green and wildlife preserve type forests for miles. The owners have placed privacy landscaping all along the rear perimeters of the home but if you wanted to just have the views of the never ending golf course you could easily remove the landscaping and really open this property up. The owners have also installed an invisible fence around the outer rims of the property.

With over 7400 square feet under air; the living areas are amazing. When the owners opened these stunning wooden double doors welcoming us into their home the Fieldstone fireplace that goes from the floor to the ceiling in the gathering room made a statement not only of pride of ownership but also of detail and elegance. This is not the typical Florida style type of architecture or design. If you love the look and feel of North Carolina, Colorado or the Contempary flair of Wyoming estates this is your next home. Don't even bother viewing this home if you do not appreciate contemporary design at its' best. However, if contemporary style and design is what you love this home will fill your heart's desire.

Off to the left of the grand gathering area with 17 feet high volume ceilings is an atrium area, another one of those nooks I told you about earlier. Directly next to the atrium you enter into the most amazing library in the entire Palm Beach Gardens Florida area. This is a readers paradise. Being that I absolutely love to read and books are my treasures I felt as if I had entered into one of my dreams even down to the book ladder that glides along the entire wall of bookshelves that go up 17 feet high. You know, at the moment my eyes noticed the stunning ladder the scene came to mind from the first Mummy movie where Evelyn is on the ladder in the library and accidently knocks over all those books. Remember that? Sidebar- That scene was done in one take!

The master bedroom is tucked away in its' own oasis with views of waterfall and lush greenery. The closets are larger than some bedrooms in some homes I have seen. But what is really spectular about this master suite area is that it comes with a full size dry sauna and a full steam unit in the shower area complete with 8 shower heads placed strategically for a full body shower experience complete with surround sound speakers.

I was greeted by another well built Fieldstone fireplace as I entered the Master Suite.

On the other side of the master suite is a professional 30 x 20 gymnasium with top of the line equipment fitting everything you can ever imagine. It even has the overhang television that the pro gyms have. You never have to figure out a time to run out to the gym because it is all right here waiting for you. Most home gyms are small and tight fitting with a lack of light. This gym has floor to ceiling glass for maximum light yet so private no one can see you exersising away in your pro gym. There is also a private bedroom with its' own entrance on the other side of the gym complete with its' own private bathroom, the perfect room for live in household help or for a private office. 

So if you are not interested in having this area remain a gym you could easily tranform this into a mother in law suite, guest quarters, teenager getaway or a home office suite. The transformation possibilities are endless. That is hurricane impact glass you see there.

On the other side of the home I walked into an amazingly open gourmet kitchen complete with gas, subzero, 4 ovens, a warmer, instant hot water, 2 dishwashers, 2 garbage disposals, 2 ice makers and reverse osmosis for drinking water. Overlooking the pool, patio, summer kitchen and more native Florida landscaping, I imagined what a serene location for your morning cup of coffee. The kitchen overlooks the family room with another Fieldstone fireplace for cozy family and social gatherings.

Off in the same direction you find the west wing. The west wing consists of 5 more bedrooms of which they all have the pleasure of featuring their own private lanais built in such a way to afford total privacy from each of the other bedrooms. The laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers in the west wing along with numerous storage closets.

For those of you who love workshops or restoring cars; this is the dream 4.5 car garage! The garage is air conditioned so you can work on your classics to your heart's content. The floors are spotless and I could see this being also used for an amazing children's toy room or hobby areas. There are stairs, real stairs, not that ugly pull down attic ladder thing most of us here in south Florida, that you walk up to get into the attic with tons of storage. How cool is that! You actually walk up real stairs covered in carpet, no splinters, not pullijng and pushing the attic stairs up and down! For a home in Florida this has just so much storage. You know that is the biggest complaint anyone who buys a house in Florida is, there is not enough storage and we don't have basements!
