Madison Green- Royal Palm Beach- Florida- Best Kept Secret of Palm Beach County

Madison Green is a well-maintained community in what is known as the Western Communities of Palm Beach County. Madison Green is located on Okeechobee Blvd. and on two sides of Crestwood. Most of Madison Green was built by Minto Homes. They are newer homes so if you are looking for a home that is not outdated but also a better value than brand new- Madison Green has a lot to offer.

Madison Green is just minutes from West Palm Beach International Airport, about 16 miles from the beach and just minutes away from Cityplace and all the happenings of downtown West Palm Beach. Shopping, schools, hospitals and restaurants are local and close to any part of Madison Green.

Short sale success in Royal Palm Beach Florida produces very happy sellers. This young couple was referred to us by another seller who we are doing a short sale for who found us on our Active Rain blog.

Casa Santiago is a Cuban and Dominican Bakery, Restaurant and Caterer in Royal Palm Beach Florida.

When we are asked where can you get a great Cuban sandwich or Lechon Asado we don't hesitate to say Casa Santiago. Where can we find tasty Croquettas, Flan, Tres Leches, Pastel De Guayaba or a can of Materva? No place other than Casa Santiago.

This Cuban cafe is conveniently located right off of Okeechobee Blvd in Royal Palm Beach at 11150 Okeechobee Blvd.

Nestor's family fled Castro during the revolution and arrived in Miami in the early 60's when he was just a little boy. Of course, you don't have to be Cuban to love Cuban food! But the Cuban food is in his blood and he enjoys living minutes away from really good Cuban food. Most places we have been to are less than desirable in taste and quality.

If you are looking for a fiesta atmosphere look no further. You can find yourselves in the middle of a lively conversation most any time of the day. When we walked into the Cafe the other day there were several men sitting around the counter just having a great conversation in Spanish. If you want to sharpen up your Spanish language skills this is the place to come and hang out! They even have the Spanish news stations playing so you can get a different viewpoint! Now that is a refreshing change!

While we were eating here the other day I thought that this would make a good Localism post. As I was thinking this thought, the owner, Santiago came over to us and asked us if he could treat us to his homemade Flan. How could we say no? His Flan is delicious.We told him about about the review we were writing up on his food and he was very appreciative.

Casa Santiago is owned by Santiago Rozon and his wife Milagros Rozon. Make sure when you go to eat at his restaurant that you tell them you read about them on our blog. He is excited to have us do a review of his Cafe.

When we go Nestor will either order the Cuban Sandwich or the Bistec de Palomilla with black beans and rice and sweet fried bananas.

I order the Yucca with Black Beans and Rice. The dishes are served in large portions and you never leave hungry!

They are open 7 days a week: Monday through Saturday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
