Take Action Now- Save Your Rights In The United States Of America

There have been some very serious new developments over the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Treaty. Please read this post even though it is long. I will try to explain the dangers and seriousness of this as short and to the point as I can. I will also give you links to go to do your own due diligence.

Do you want to have to answer to an International Committee at the UN for every parenting decision you make? Do you want to have your children under the supervision of the Internationalists at the UN above the law of the United States of America?

Do you want your child to be able to file a complaint against you for:

  • grounding your child,
  • for putting your child in timeout,
  •  for taking your child to church,
  •  for telling your child they can not hang around with certain kids who are a bad influence on them,
  •  for wanting to date earlier than is your rule in your household,
  • for wanting to experiment with drugs,
  • for telling your child what kind of music they are allowed to listen to
  • for joining some group that you do not approve of?

I am not kidding. This is very serious. But the problem is you will NEVER hear about this from main stream media. They are on the side of the UN. We are the only country that has not signed this treaty and President Obama and Hillary Clinton have both said that it is shameful that we have not joined the UN in signing this treaty.

Well, Americans like their liberty. They like to be free. They don't want to answer to some inept group of elitists at the UN who sit around and make up the rules as they go.

It is just a matter of time before the Congress gets this approved and ratifies this bill.

The only thing that we as citizens of the United States of America can do is to get enough signatures on this petition and enough State Representatives to sponsor the Parental Rights Amendment.

We need a 2/3 vote in the house in order to get this amendment passed.

Don't think this is any of your business? Not important enough for you to sign a petition? Even if you have grown up children remember this treaty effects your grandchildren. READ ON!

Here is what has happened just in the last two weeks to further this UN control over our children around the world:

1. In Great Britain the UN has pressured the government to end the right of parents to homeschool their children under Articles 12 and 29 of the UNCRC. This interpretation is requiring the government of Britain to register their 80,000 plus homeschooling families, forcing them to provide annual reports regarding their homeschool and granting government officials to come into the privacy of their homes and interview each child alone. The government is to find out from the child, if it is the child's wishes to be homeschooled!

Hmmmm, I wonder, what would government officials be saying, pursuading these children in private?

Do you trust the government to talk to your children in private without you being present?

Of course, they don't mention the fear that they are creating for the children.

The Homeschool Legal Defense Association has been warning that if Congress ratifies the Treaty here in the US that this would put our right to homeschool in danger.

You say you don't homeschool your children so this is none of your concern? Don't hold that thought too long, because it goes much further than just homeschool.

2. On June 17th, quietly and unknown to all of us in the United States- at the UN headquarters in Geneva, the UN's Human Rights committee, made an announcement that they created a new draft of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Treaty. They decided that a child has the right to file a formal complaint to the UN committee against their parents or anyone else and the UN will decide what is in the best interest of your child.

Hmmm, so you see, they get to make up the rules as they go. They take a few liberties away today and some more tomorrow. Because International Treaties are supreme above all the state laws of the land, there is nothing we can do about it. Just start answering to the blue hats.

So you may not homeschool, but may be you are a Christian and you take your child to church. Your child files a formal complaint against you because he or she wants to stay home on Sunday mornings and watch violent cartoons. Hmmm, how many Christians do you think are going to be in this committee that decides the future of your child's religious training? Something to think about.

3. On June 1 and 2 in Georgetown at their University Law School- There was a two day conference called, "The Convention on the rights of the child, (CRC) : Why It Is Time To Ratify". American Internationalists were together in this meeting to put pressure on getting this treaty through. The Internationists want to ceize upon this moment. They have millions and millions of dollars backing them up. The have the entire United Nations backing them up. And they have the United States government backing them up. They even have the media on their side.

The leaders at this conference said that logic and reasoning will not defeat their cause. They are planning to use emotional arguements in a public setting. They lie and say that Americans will not lose their sovereignty. Whenever someone in the audience had a question in this regard they were silenced and the question was not answered.

Grassroots efforts by the citizens of the United States can and will make the difference. They may have all the money and power to pass this treaty but we have the desire of freedom on our side.

  • Please ask 3 other people to do the same. Anyone over the age of 13 can sign the petition.

Become a part of our team. This is your chance to really make a difference in saving our country's sovereignty. Don't think it can't happen here.

In less than two years you could be having social workers at your door explaining to your children, their right to file formal complaints against you in the American court system and if they don't like the answer they get there, they can take their complaint direct to the UN International counsel.

The battle for Amercan Liberty has begun. Thank you in advance for your help.

Please reblog this post. Pass it on. Email this post. Pass it on. This is a non partisan issue. This is an American issue.

N & K - if we each get a little information out there wer can stop some of these abuses. The gradual erosion of our rights and liberties is frightening. Thank you.

By the way - I forwarded your RealBird info to my son. He was going to check it out but had a buyer scheduled. He called me this morning after he looked at your website - he was very impresed with you folks. I told him we all are. He's not much of a writer but he'll be on AR before long.

Nestor & Katerina.
They were just talking about this about 6 weeks ago on one of the late night News shows. I believe they were saying that The US and 1 other country were the only ones that had not sign onto the UN Rights of the Child Treaty, but that the current administration was moving in that direction. I personally am not ready or willing to have the government or the UN tell me how to raise my family. I'm going to follow the link you posted and pass them on to family and friends. Thanks for the info.

Of course you know I am on the mailing list and signed the petition. I heard the phones were jammed.

Heck, no when you raise honery teens they would be calling everyday and I would be in court defending myself.

Thanks for getting the word out.

Gene- Thanks, that is a very nice compliment.

We see our rights being stripped away little by little and this has been going on for many more years than we realize. I was shocked to find out how far back this Internationalism goes. People actually hate our constitution and want to do away with it.

Sue- Please spread the word. This is so serious yet no one is really talking about it as if it is serious. Just remember that in Nazi Germany it did not all happen at once either. A liberty here, a liberty there, soon they woke up to find themselves in bondage. We think it could never happen and it won't if we wake up from our apathy and denial and start to take action.

This just in from ParentalRights.org! Missy just sent this to me.

Congratulations!

The office of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice has been inundated with calls! The first phone line we sent out has been completely shut down, and the voice mail system for all of their lines has been crashed.

This means you can't likely get through, so what do you do?

You no longer need to call the U.S. office at the U.N. Instead, please contact the White House comment line at 202-456-1111. It may be busy - we have kept it busy all day -- but keep trying. It is only open from 9 to 5 (EDT), so time is limited. However, you can also send them a message online athttp://www.whitehouse.gov/CONTACT/.

Also, contact your Senators. Find their contact info. by typing your zip code in the box here. Their offices also close at 5 (EDT), so try to get to them quickly - or call tomorrow!

Please click here for more up-to-date information on this campaign before calling our office.

Thank you so much, and keep up the great work!

Katerina, you aren't serious about that are you?  Do you know how many social workers we would have to have in this country to make sure you're following those supposed rules?  Please share with me where you got that information.

Posted by Terry Haugen STAGE it RIGHT! 321-956-2495 (Stage it Right!) almost 3 years ago

Terry- They are starting the process in Great Britain. New Zealand has been fighting this treaty in their country. In Ireland, the UN told the government to make sure their social workers do get out to all the schools and all the homes to make sure that no children get spanked. The UN went to Great Britain last fall and had a fit that Great Britain is not enforcing the UN part of the treaty that the UN interprets to say that no parent is EVER allowed to spank their child under no circumstances.

While I don't spank my children and don't believe it works well I certainly do not believe that the UN has any right to mandate this to any government, yet, that is exactly what this treaty does do.

I got the info from the UN treaty itself and following the legal cases being brought before the European governments who are mostly sorry now that they ever signed this treaty.

It does not matter even that you picked out this one sentence out of my entire article, because at the end of the day, we are only going to give up more liberties, one by one to an international body at the UN, who I hardly would call fair or balanced in any form.

Interesting, the countries that abuse children signed the treaty with exceptions, in other words, signed in name only. They will still sell their children into slavery and marry off their 10 and 11 year old daughters. And the UN won't do a thing about them, but we better all behave here in the US because we are not going to be signing with exceptions.

The one thing that I will tell you is the homeschooling families in the US will rise to the occasion of defending any family's right to homeschool in our country and other countries. Please remember there are parents in jail in Germany for homeschooling. We are supporting them financially to get them over here to the US in the HSLDA.

When we are called upon to make the calls to the white house or any other government, we do rise to the call as you can see the results of today's calls to the UN.

There was a congressman in California several years ago who initiated a bill to outlaw homeshooling in California. Once this went out on our call chain of homeschoolers all over the US, we crashed the call lines to the House in CA. We made our voices known. When the bill hit the floor- it was all against the bill and only vote for the bill. That was of course the author of the bill. This is what collective efforts, grassroots can do.

The UN is a joke... but not a very funny one.  The UN Declaration of Human Rights is a great example.  It outlines all of the wonderful rights... but gives the UN the ability to remove EVERY SINGLE ONE if that is what meets the goals of the UN.

Katerina,

I guess Obama can solve the unemployment problem, the government can retrain unemployed persons to become social workers!!  I agree with Terry it will take thousands of social workers to regulate this loss of freedom act.

Thanks for the heads up - I had heard just a little about this.  I have followed the links and will contact my reps.

Posted by Becky Brand (Shorewest Realtors) almost 3 years ago

Jimmy- I am sure that here they would just send the social workers to all the public schools to give classes on how to snitch on your parents whenever they make you do something that you don't want to do, like mowing the grass and taking out the garbage would then be considered child labor violations. Then they would mandate the private schools to set this up. Then they would, just like in Great Britain, order all the homeschoolers to register with them. In Great Britain there are 80,000 homeschooling families and the UN expects the British government to go inside of each and every one of these homes. So yes, it may seem unlikely, but then again, the Nazis made it into every single home in Germany and Poland and beyond to search under every board in the floor for Jews that may be hiding. That seemed like one unlikely chore that required too much man  power too.

Becky- Thank you! Please help us spread the word, we are gaining strength against the elitists who think they know more about how we should take care of our children.

Posted by Nestor & Katerina Gasset Realtors® Wellington Florida Homes For Sale (International Properties and Investments LLC) almost 3 years ago

Matt- Yes, they are. Transparency is a falacy! There is so much going on behind our backs and in the midnight sessions of the halls of Congress. We have no clue how bad it can get.

Lane- Oh yes, look at the fiasco they caused by pulling out the mercenaries who nearly had the Rwanda under control. The UN blue hats stand by and watch genocide and don't lift a finger to do anything about it. And Nigeria, another place that is full of genocide. We have Nigerian clients who have witnessed things that I can not bear to repeat!

Katrina, maybe a little more government oversight would prevent little kids, like the one in Wochester who was just beaten to death by his father, from living in terror.  I'm not for regulations of this kind, however I don't believe what you are telling us is for real.  Its way too far out there. Do you have a credible link that addresses this issue?

Posted by Terry Haugen STAGE it RIGHT! 321-956-2495 (Stage it Right!) almost 3 years ago

Yes, Terry, the links are ParentalRights.org and HSLDA.org.

The links are also in my post.

At HSLDA- this is Home School Legal Defense Association- The attorneys there take cases all over the US and Europe also.

For those who wonder if every family could be notified, last night I was listening to a congressman who wants to have the USPO do the census instead of ACORN. Well, if the government can hire 750,000 workers to come and take the census then certainly they could 'deputize' each of these workers to at the same time discuss the kid's right with the kids.

Terry- You don't make every family suffer in order to try to regulate the few that do abuse their children. We have laws in place in our country for this and it has been already proven that the UN treaty has not eased abuse in countries where it is an acceptable practise. There are countries that sign stuff and never follow what they sign. It is your choice to believe me or not. I am not going to spend my life trying to prove to one person that which I can certainly get with the same amount of time, hundreds to take action against destroying more of our liberties.

The amendment to the constitution adding that parents have rights to educate and raise their children does not interfe in any way the protections already in place in the US to protect children from abuse.

Terry- The state of Washington had a similar child's right bill that was eventually overturned because of the outrage from families after the destruction of many families by state authority. The problem with treaties is that they trump state constitutions and laws. Once signed you don't go back and take off your signature.

In WA; 2 well known cases:

1.A 15 yr old teenage daughter was grounded by her parents for having sex and taking drugs with a 19 year old boy. She complained to her school counselor about it. Her counselor told her she could call CPS and make her parents stop grounding her.

The state takes removes her from the home. The parents go to court. The judge says the parents did not have the right to tell their daughter whom she could date and would not even address the drugs. The parents said that she has to abide by their rules, no drugs and no dating a 19 year old boy. The girl is removed from her parents and spends the rest of her teenage years in foster care. She is now an advocate against this type of regulation. She can not take back what happened to her but she can move forward and get people to understand that judges have their own agendas many times....

just like in:

2. Same state- Parents brought their son to Church on Sundays and Wednesday nights. The boy was 13 years old and did not want to go with them to church anymore. He complained to his school counselor who said that no parent should force their kids to go to church with them.

The state removes the son from the home. The judge says: This is excessive church attendance. He ruled that the boy did not have to go to church, the boy's wishes were supreme to his parents'. The parents had to make a choice. Lose their son or stop going to church. They decided to keep their son. They did not have the money to appeal this judge who overstepped his authority and made a judgment against the family's religious rights also.

These are true cases. Thank God that this law was repealed after all the damage it caused in WA.But it was only repealed because people took notice and paid attention and then screamed that this is not the way to raise kids. Kids don't know at those ages how their wants and desires may hurt them and have consequences sometimes for the rest of their lives.

People looking the other way; burying their heads in the sand, living in denial of what can happen is what causes these liberty abuses to take place. Hitler did not just come out and kill the Jews. You must remember, everyone said it could never happen and they denied it was happening, even the Jews did not believe this was happening to them. Hitler's plan of desensitizing is a well known method of getting the masses to move in obedience. First, it was sterilizing the retarded and insane, then it was killing all those sentenced on death row, then it was killing and experimenting on the insane, mentally retarded and physically handicapped, then it was rounding up the gypsies- after all- no one there liked gypsies so that was OK, then it was other minorities and soon the Jews, the final 'cleansing' was taking place and most everyone looked the other way. I am only correlating these to show that apathy leads to consequences, intended or not.

The government creates problems and then grows some more to solve the problem they created... we are seeing it live and in color with the health care "reform" initiative.

Posted by Lane Bailey - REALTOR & Car Guy (Century 21 Results Realty) almost 3 years ago

Terry- The attorney who represented the parents in these cases is the one that told us about the cases at our homeschool legal update meeting. What is heresay? It was right from the girl who is now a mother who told her story to us and then the attorney who was her parents' attorney fighting for her custody. She remembers her own story very well and that is not heresay.

The HSLDA is not a heresay sight. They are a group of attorneys who defend cases all over the US in parental rights every day. What is heresay about that?

Lane- And while we are fighting one bill, they are slipping in another. The mighty magicians. Here we are in an uproar about the health care bills while they are going to try tomorrow to slip in a vote on cap and trade. Do you like how high your heating and cooling bills are now? How about seeing those be raised a lot more. Check out the Heritage Foundations website for more details on the cost to us for the cap and trade.

At Church, on Father's Day, our pastor was talking about how fathers need to be both powerful and tender, I don't quite see how this new idea on parenting that you are writing about makes any sense.
