Jamey Prezzi emailed me last night with a message that she found this cool site: Flavors.me.
What a fabulous way to create and work your personal brand.
Throughout this post I am highlighting some profiles that were made in Flavors.me.

I just started to set up my profile page. Flavors.me is a profile site. You can use your own domain. You build a page all about you. It is an online business card. You can make is as simple of fancy as you would like to make it.
It is like Google Profile but a whole lot better. You can add your own backgrounds and images. Real estate agents can make some very impressive backgrounds with their niche markets. If you are in the condo niche market you can do something along the lines of some of these city backgrounds. If you are working in waterfront niches, the water behind you would look great. If you are in luxury markets, you in front of an a luxury estate or even inside a gourmet kitchen would get the point across of who you work with.

Then you write the 'about you' part.
Then you add all your services. Right now Flavors. me has about 24 services but they keep adding more. So you add Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Posterous, Youtube and more.

When someone clicks on one of your services your stream shows up right in your flavors.me page.
The page that I just started is: http://www.KaterinaGasset.com
You can point your own domains from Godaddy to your flavors.me site or you can just use:
There is a free version with limited fonts and limited services.

The paid version is only $20 a year and you can do a lot more with the paid version.
I got the paid version so that I can use my own URL and here is where I plan to host the links to my websites and blogs, sales pages and of course, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube and Facebook.

I think this is really a great way to broadcast your online business card.
You can add all your fan page links here, your personal blog links, your active rain blog links, your website links.
The possibilities to create something really stunning about who you are and what you do are endless.
I went through the flavors.me directory to see some of the creativity that people are building. Check it out:

I have not been indexed yet so we will wait a few more hours and check whether Google is crawling flavors. me yet.
But there is nothing better than getting in on the ground floor. Get your flavors.me site up and running now.
Oh yeah, for the FTC and other nosy people- I am NOT an affiliate and I derive no benefit from promoting flavors.me other than feeling good that I am paying it forward.

Katerina - You are always on the cutting edge! Interesting site, I will check it out.
I agree. Between you and Rebecca, I don't know how you mine the Internet for these gizmos and gadgets. I can't keep up!
This is VERY cool. I am going to check this out right now! Thanks for the tip!
For some reason each of the links on your page take me to a different site.... The top 2 take me to flaver.me not flavor.me and your URL takes me to some food flavor something or another....I have tried it a few different times....
This sounds great! Ground floor is the bargain floor! If this becomes big (which I think it will) then the price is sure to go up. I do hope Google crawlers find it so that I know which direction I want to go in. I have several parked domains that would work with something like this!
ETA: I watched the demo. I have a pretty good idea what I want to do. :)
Katerina, today is my first day back at AR (it's been over a year). What do I do -go to my favorite blog --yours. What do I find? The same as when I met you here - good advice, well delivered and, I am sure, useful.
OK, the links should all be working now and take you to the right place!
I am sorry about that, must have been asleep at the wheel!
You can always just google flavors.me and the site will show up.
Too much stuff to learn and not enough days to learn it.
I love it Katerina! Thanks for the heads up. By the way, just got around to reading my March REALTOR magazine. You are a celebrity! And to think you talk to me every week in my SEO to the top Class! Congrats to you.
That looks like a great promotional venue. I'll have to get set up there. thanks!
This is a fabulous find, Katerina. Thanks for sharing.
Katerina - This seems like a very interesting site. I'll need to look at it further when activity is a bit quieter.
I am still tweaking and working on my site at flavors.me. I just made a keynote slide on my mac, took a fabulous mac screen shot- then uploaded it as an image to flavors. Check out my site there now. The links are at the top now. I wanted to see if it would even work. Now I need to change a few things, because the slide repeats to fill up the space.
I am working on short cuts so I don't have to do all this in html. :)
DeeDee- Wouldn't you know! LOL! Thank you:) It was really fun. I wrote some posts about the photography session we had all day for the article in Realtor Magazine ( they paid for it). That is where this new photo comes from on our profile.
This looks very interesting and helpful. I tried setting up an account and a webpage. I was not quite able to figure it out. I'll come back here to read the comments more. Thanks.
Richard- Just get your name and account first so no one else takes your common name.
Then go back in and use the design panel to set up just a temp background of a single color. There is a color palette in there. That is what I did just to go live. Then I started trying different images and such.
Add all your services, under the service tab, like Twitter, etc. You can always go back and do a bit more at a time.
Hi Katerina,
Like others have said, you ROCK! I have learned so much from you. Thank you!
Katerina, thank you for another wonderful tip to help build my business!
What a great find! Definitely checking this out. I love shortcuts too and can think of many uses for this! Definitely appreciated!
More interesting stuff - thank you! Heading to the site now and will be watching for a follow up post with examples from our Active Rain family!
Nestor & Katerina, Great info! Thanks for sharing this.
-Paul
I need to go back and work on that! It's so awesome. Thanks for the link!
Jamey
Very interesting! I will check this out a little more.
