As soon as I finished presenting at ActiveRain RainCamp Online- we had to get ready for the AR Meet-Up because it was starting at 5 p.m. and we like to leave about an 1 hour before so we could be there as the hosts about 15 minutes before the meet-up started. I still had to get our little guy ready, get the camera ready and all the prep stuff that you do before you leave the house. I was able to stay on to hear about 20 minutes of Chris' presentation.
Here are a lot of photos of the meet-up and at the end of the Post, there is a video I made. It is a slide show of many of the photos and then I embedded a Video right in the middle of the slide show. Check it out, it is pretty cool. Oh, the music is royalty free so no worries there!

We had about a dozen Rainers at our AR Meet-Up. E.R. Bradley's is a famous gathering place, bar, bands and great food on the waterfront of the Intracoastal - great venue for a meet-up and this place has a lot of Palm Beach history and charm. Their crab cakes are to die for. If you go there make sure you try them. They make a great salad too.
Barbara Martino-Sliva from Vero Beach and Karen Mathers from Vero Beach both drove down to West Palm Beach which was an hour and a half drive for each of them. They get the prize for biggest AR fans for driving so far to come to a meet-up!
Kathy Streib- home stager-from Boca was the second person to arrive at the meet-up. It was really fun meeting Kathy, she has a great personality and is very helpful and kind. She comments often on our blog and it was great to say hi in person.
Richard Zaretsky,AKA Active Rain's Most Featured Attorney and two of his staff members came to enjoy a good time. We have known Richard for a few years now. He has referred clients and we refer clients to him. We work well together as a team and we also get together a few times a year just to chat and catch up all that is going on in the short sale world. Here is Richard with the ladies!
Nikisha Jones and Eileen Burns drove up from the Fort Lauderdale area to join the WPB AR Meet-Up. I have wanted to meet Nikisha for a long time. She is just as sweet in person as she is online. Eileen has been one of my biggest cheerleaders.
Moira Murphy showed up also for the AR Meet-Up. She is a salesperson for software for real estate agents.
Of course, last but not least Nestor and our little guy joined us at the AR meet-up. I am so grateful to Nestor for always being so willing to help out and support me. I would not be able to even take the time to teach RainCamp Online unless he carried the rest of the load while I present and speak and coach. And last but certainly not least my little guy:) Oh how I love him being my shadow!
See it is not relationships only on the internet. Sometimes we get together.
Katerina, what a great crowd you had at the AR meet. I've seen quite a few photos of different meets and hopefully, I will be able to attend one next time.
Katerina, appears that your function was well attended..congratulations...
Tim- Thanks yes, we do meet:)
Rebecca- You will, did you get to check out the video? That was fun to make.
Ronald- It was well attended. We had a great time!
Hi Katerina, congrats on a successful Meetup, you are going to have to share your secrets on your photo montage with the video inside, that is way cool...too tired tonight after getting back from mine, much smaller crowd, but still successful in my eyes...will get with you in the next few days to take care of your class.
John- Looking forward to being blessed by you being in our SEO to the top group and then alumni:)
I will do a tutorial on how to make the montage. Quick and Easy, love the video making part of blogging! Katerina
Looks like fun Katerina. I liked the slide show/video too. I will be watching for the tutorial on how you made it.
Jim- I just added that to my list of tutorials to make. I have some cool fast tips on making videos. I will be doing a bunch of them since I really love doing video:) Katerina
Katerina: Looks like your Meetup was a huge success. Ours is this afternoon and I am really looking forward to it. Great presentation today. Wish I could get a handle on tweeting and participating at the same time. I think it's a generational thing and I am the wrong generation. LOL
It sounds like a great time was had by all. great picts and video. I would have loved to have met Kathy. She is one of my faves. Oh, and great job at raincamp.
Katerina, goot meet up I'm sure & great pics to view...thanks so much for the great presentation at RC on line...it invigorates me every time I hear you present what all bloggers need to do to grow business!
Katerina - looks like you all had some fun networking :) I have been really busy lately with short sales and blogging that it is really difficult for me to attend meet ups. Hopefully, I can get to one of those :)
Looks like a great time for everyone. I was shut out of the on line camp but am looking forward to a copy of the recordings.
Really sorry I missed it. Took the Active Rain seminar in the afternoon and some proverbial s**t hit the fan and we had to put the fires out. I hope there's another one.
As usual, Tristan is the youngest attendee and Nestor is dressing sharp! Looks like a great turn out.
We certainly do "have a friend" in you Katerina! You are a wonderful hostess, a good time was had by all, the location could not have been more perfect and the weather co-operated as well.
I personally drove 160 miles round trip to this important event since I value all the time and energy you provide to the entire Ar community and I especially enjoy your life stories as they unfold!
Nestor and Tristan makes the circle complete. I so enjoyed meeting and greeting Moira, Leslie, Karen, Kathy, Barbara, Richard, Cecelia and of course, my dear friend Nishika who traveled along with us on this journey.
Until we meet again my friends....
Eileen
p.s. so appreciate the segment you did that same afternoon on Rain Camp online
Looks like a good turnout. I drove 1.5 hours through a monsoon to get to our AR meetup last night. We have major flooding here from the week of rain, but I went anyway ;-)
Katerina - looks like a wonderful time was had by all and your video is that of an expert and you chose the perfect music to accompany it. Wish I could have been there, but maybe one day you'll visit NJ again, sharing your wealth of knowledge, wisdom and experience. One can hope....
That's a great turn out. I'm hoping for about 10 from the responses I've gotten for the Austin one.
Katerina, the consensus from those blogs I've seen of folks who attended is that YOU are wonderful. Helpful, genuine and kind...how nice is that!
By the way, your Nester is an absolute doll. Glad you all had a marvelous time.
Katerina, You had a very busy day. Great job on the webinar ~ full of a lot of great information. And your meet-up looks nice too.
Katerina, thank you so much for all your efforts! It is always great meeting our AR "friends!" Great pics and love the video. :)
Congrats, Katarina - I've already stumbled upon kidso to you on other posts - A Very Successful Rain Camp - even with the tech difficulties - when's the next ? As I'm one of the unlucky ones who missed it ...
Hi Katerina, what a great groups of Rainers that was to come together for the meetup. Looks like everyone had a great time!
Thank you everyone! We had so much fun, with all the teaching I did this week, hosting the meet-up etc, now it is back to blogging for our area and such so please forgive me if I can not make a comment back to each of you. I appreciate the comments so much and treasurely read each of them. I have to get to the real estate side of work:) Katerina
Hi Katerina- Great video on your meet up. Listening to you on Rain Camp was the 2nd time I have heard you speak on a webinar and I could listen to you all day. You have such a great way of presenting and a wonderful voice to listen to. Great job!!
looks like everyone had a great time!
Katerina, Tristan is getting more adorable by the minute! Looks like you all had a wonderful time.
Katerina- beautifully done and once again.. thank you for organizing this. Can't wait to do it again.
Good times! People stepping out of cyber world into real world.
I don't think we always agree on things but I always enjoy reading your blogs and comments. It is nice to see you and the rest enjoying some fellowship. I am sure each learned a lot from one another. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We are so happy to have met each of you at our AR MeetUp, in spite of the rain and thunderstorms - once we were there, the rain stopped.
Gregory- That is one of the things that was brought up in the questions on AR raincamp online- How do I polarize on a stand I take on an issue and yet still have the most subscribers on AR. It is comments like yours that verify that you can disagree yet still respect one another. You can have a different opinion yet not call names. YOu can disagree with a stance but not attach the person with that stance. If we all agreed, it would be a very boring world.
Thank you for one of the most endearing comments to me. Katerina
Cheryl- I use a mac. For this video, I used the iLife2011 upgrade, about $47 for all of our computers- you would never get pricing like that on software on a PC! :) Then I chose the photos I wanted in iPhoto '11- then clicked on slideshow- clicked on theme, I let it do it's own thing, then I added the music- chosen from Mac's Garage Band- so full permission to use it... where else but on a mac! Then exported it to iTunes, then opened up my youtube account, and chose in mac finder: music, which let's the itunes music show up, then clicked on movies- which opens the movies in itunes. Then clicked on the slideshow and uploaded it to youtube. I embedded the video right in the middle of the slide show by choosing it as an image in iPhoto when i was choosing the photos. You can only do this is you have the movie in iphoto and not iMovie.
I am going to do a video tutorial on how to do this. Katerina
Donna- I am sure you are going to have a big turn out for yours. I know some members who are making a bit of a drive to meet you too!
Kathy- Thank you for your nice post about the AR meet - up ! You did a nice job with a photo outlay too! It was fun meeting you in person. You were all I had thought you to be and more. Very fun!
Patricia- Isn't it fun to watch the children of members grow up in the rain through photos and blog posts? Something to surely reminisce over in our later years:)
Martha- That is such a nice compliment. I really appreciate it and can not wait to show Nestor your comment;) I don't always have a pleasant voice in my home, need to work on that:) I enjoy speaking so much, I am "on" when I am speaking. Since I was little - I remember in elemetary school I would ask the teacher if I could give oral and written reports in class. I loved to stand up in front of the class and share what I had learned about Egypt, Cleopatra and the Mythology of Greece and Rome which were some of my favorite subjects in 5th grade. I still remember that!
So reading your comment, that makes me wonder if I created Audio CDs - would you listen in your car, etc? I have had a few requests for audio CDs but with the internet and webinars being favored I have not researched that part. However, people can not be in front of their computers or iphones or ipads when they are driving:) Katerina
One day you'll fly back here to visit MEEEE tee hee..... I'm so glad you all had fun and had the connection that is unlike any other...the meet up!
Katerina, sounds like you had a great meet and a good time. Its nice to see fellow ActiveRainers.
Looks like a good time was had by all. Thanks for sharing it with thise of us who couldn't make it. Thanks Katerina!
Sally- YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON ON MY LIST TO SEE when I get back home!!!! I Can not wait for that day!
Little league is putting a damper on my plans:) But I am determined to see you and give you the BIGGEST HUG when I meet you in person for the first time!!!!
Just in case, ya'll did not know, it is because of Sally and her wonderful posts about Hawaii, that I am even here on ActiveRain!!!!
Looks like you guys have some fun at the meet up. We did too and had a great time catching up.
Looks like you had a pretty good group at the meet up. Posters and ballons, too. Very impressive.
Katerina, this looks like a blast. It really helps to get to know people through hugs and smiles too. After spending so much time here I feel as if I know you and could sit down and play catch up over coffee anytime. I love this place. Nestor is a good guy to support you through these things. You're a great team.
Deb
Your video was so cool and I love the venue! Thank you for being part of a fabulous RainCamp and then running out to host a MeetUp! Should we send some Red Bull your way or what? :)
Thank you so much Katerina for hosting! It was a great event and the opportunity to meet you and other Active Rainers in person was super exciting. If I hadn't attended I would never have known you give such good hugs:-)!! I was lucky enough to be able to attend two AR MeetUps in the area last week and both were lots of fun.
Kerrie- Thank you! Yes, I was running that day!!! Sobe B Energy works for me:)
Nishika- It was fun to meet you too! Thanks for making the trip up here for the event! Katerina
