We went to the National Horse Show here in Wellington Florida at the Equestrian Club and took lots of photos just like I promised you I would!
So if you love horses; get ready to feast your eyes on these beautiful horses.
This was the Jumper Competition. The green lawn is the main ring and there are 4 other rings that are in dirt not grass.
I am working with a Sony Camcorder Digital DVD camera that does take good still shots. I was trying to time these photos just right as the horse was making the jump. I do not know how to set up my sport mode on my camera, I guess that is next on my list to do because the horses were moving so fast.
The green grass ring is decorated with beautiful flowers along all the fences set up for jumping. Here are some of those beautiful sights.
We walked over to the dirt ring to check out some more Jumper competitions. Here are some of the photos that I took there.
Of course our family excursion would not be complete without our son Tristan getting his ice cream. Look at this cool photo enhancer I found for free online. All the effects are totally free. You can use them for your MySpace, Facebook, blogger and more.

On the way over to see the vendors that are at the show we saw some horses with their grooms. The grooms take the horses from the riders to take care of them after they jumped. The rider does not do that part. There are many people involved with just one horse of this caliber and worth.
We visited with some of the vendors. I will post about them in my very next post so stay tuned! If you like to shop you will not want to miss some of these high class vendors!

I remember going to the shows when my kids competed. Of course, then mom was the groom, but I enjoyed being a part of it with my kids. I still go to the Grand Prix competitions here when I can. Great way to relax.
