WOW, how time flies! It feels like just yesterday when I posted in January that we should start planning the Active Rain Party at NAR!
It is coming up fast! Nestor and I will be there and we would love to know who is going so we can meet up with you over the weekend.
The Active Rain Party Information!
This is THE DEAL!
Saturday night at 8 p.m. is the party! That is November 8th.
Where the party is will be a secret only to be divulged through social media. You will need to find out through Twitter or Facebook. Jon wants the word to spread through true social media fashion.

Bob Stewart will come back to this post to comment where the party will be on Saturday November 8th so stay tune in case you do not have access to the internet.

When NAR goes to the Universal night out on Sunday night for Realtors® we thought it would be fun if any of you Active Rainers want to get together to go to Universal as a group together. If you are up to it, let us know so we can plan a place to meet up.This is such a fun event. The entire Universal Studios is reserved just for Realtors® starting at 7 p.m. Let us know in your comments if you want to do that with us.
We are staying at the Shingle Creek Rosen Resort. This is right off the highway and very easy to find. It is also right down the street from the convention center.
If you have not booked your room yet, we highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed there before and while it is not on the list of the official hotels for NAR, it is by far a first class hotel with the softest pillows and comforters! I stayed here with my son for the Homeschool convention. They have fantastic service and lots of room with a golf course and a fishing hole. The Rosen Shingle Creek has won a lot of awards.

I will be at NAR but not sure about the party...One of my closest friends is getting married 4 pm Saturday night...I've been waiting for this day...so if I can excuse myself from the reception...I will...and believe me...I'll try my hardest!
Not sure if I can make it yet. I'll be there representing the Crystal Coast Chapter (NC) of Women's Council of REALTORS along with two other members of my chapter and Active Rain. We'll be driving in together and planning our agenda. If we can make it to the Rain party, we'll let you know. I see that Joanne Fossland is coming and I'd love to see her.

Greetings from So Cal. I'll be there with good buddy Marlene Bridges (also from SoCal). I think we have a nat'l CRS event that same night, but we will make it some time or other afterwards. Looking forward to meeting so many from the east!

I know that we are going to be down. We'll be there for a week... and I'm almost completely ignoring the NAR convention. I'll be in the Diamond Dwellings booth on Saturday, and i'll be at Bloodhound Unchained on Friday. The rest of the time will be in the parks with the family.
We are staying in a condo in the Westgate Lakes Resort.
Katerina, the jury is still out on NAR this year. This will be the first I will miss in a while. Last year I miss the AR due to my Kidney stone attack. I will keep this in mind. I hope to met with y'all soon.

I so wanted to go to this. I bumbed. My husband will be in FL for a conference and I almost considered tagging along and going to the EXPO. Oh well, too much traveling in November already - Mom's 60th birthday in MI, Thanksgiving in NY. Someone's got to stay home and take care of the stinky dog.

Katerina - I so wish I could attend but will have to take a raincheck on this one. It would have been so much fun to meet everyone and our founding "fathers" who I have come to love and adore through Active Rain.

I'm one tough cookie and do think we'll make the party. I am going to try. I really want to go. I was the Hostess of last year's Florida Gathering and it was a small party compared to likes of this one. This one is going to be a blast!

Bummer! Now that I've Twittered, LinkedIn, Faced and danced in the Rain, I won't be at NAR this year. We are saving for a killer trip next year to San Diego! So I hope we will have another one then!

Terry- Universal is included in your NAR package. NAR gets the whole universal just for us. :)
