Today it was made clear to all Americans that the Spendimore bill is still not enough. In fact, before the ink was even dry the house has already begun the drafting of their next so called stimulus bill that will be another 1 trillion dollars.

"Give them cake"- NO MORE! No thank you!
Now that we are used to and desensitized to billions of dollars it is on to trillions of dollars. This is the biggest government spending in all of history of our country. This is the biggest government making more government than we have ever seen. We thought that the Jimmy Carter years were tough, well brace your grandchildren for inflation beyond what you can imagine.
Now this first trillion is all borrowed money, the next trillion won't be borrowed- just printed because no one in their right mind is going to lend us money the second time around for more failed spending bills. Start the printing presses! How is this going to get paid back? Think about it! There are not enough rich people to rob to pay this debt back.
The stock market reacted to the spending bill with the biggest fall in years today. All of President Clinton's work just went down the drain. So if you liked Clinton then you should be outraged that the best welfare reform was just spat on. So if you did not like Clinton, well, he looks like a conservative in comparison so you should be loving him right about now. He created less government. President Clinton said it was the age of NO MORE BIG GOVERNMENT.
I wonder how many jobs Nancy Pelosi is going to create with the 30 Billion dollars she got for San Francisco to save a mouse there when her city is one of the homeless capitals of the United States?
The optimist in me knows and has seen the young entrepreneurs, the young biz owners, the young mothers and the young fathers say enough is enough. I see a new American conservative rising, coming out of their closets, opening their mouths, taking to their blogs and websites to enlist others who have had enough.
The Bush/Obama spending stimulis bills, not one of them worked for more than a very short span of time = a very expensive bandaid.
I have seen a new energy take form in the No to the Stimulus campaigns going on in our country these days. I see the small biz owner taking a stand, I see young people getting into politics to make a difference. One of our sons is one of these brilliant young conservatives that is going to get involved in order to protect his capitalist dreams, liberty and freedoms. I am very proud that he is going to start his political journey at the same time keeping his career as a chef.
I have met 2 Active Rainers who are young conservatives going to run for mayors in their towns as their first step to making a difference and giving new blood to politics. 2010 is coming right around the corner and this is the time to start campaigning to get those who voted on this bill out of office. It is time for independent thinkers who have values and principles on which they base their decisions on for their families and their businesses and soon for their country. We are sending a clear message to Michael Steele that change is coming to the GOP.
So we can turn this event around and use it as our stimulus to really make a change. To reignite the conservative movement of which this country is mostly made up of, working people who want to keep their hard earned money, working people who like their companies and are grateful they have jobs and don't want to bankrupt their bosses. Entrepreneurs who see lemons and make lemonade that turns a profit and then taking that profit and hiring new workers with that money instead of having the government decide what to do with their hard earned money. Working people who honor and respect our founding fathers and what they stood for.
Join with me, take a stand today. 2010 will be here before you know it.

What a monstrosity....Right on! Count on me for support! Happy to be friends on Twitter too! Spread the word!
Hmm. I believe we should start paying our politicians in Monopoly money. Even then, do you think they would get the HINT??? :)
You go girl!!
The American People might have voted for change but not this.
As Sean has been saying, "don't let your heart be troubled."
At least an Obama spokesperson came out today against the Un-Fairness Doctrine.
At least the Pope rebuked Polosi.
Here is another social network I joined.
Maybe some of that trillion dollar will pass into Real Estate or Active Rain? No politics in my near future, but it is always good to read up some politics in AR community! Are you running for a politician position? You are very well loved by everyone katerina!
BRAVO!!!!
Katerina, I am with you 100%; I think we all are.
This is now featured on the Optimist Group.
Thank you!
I'll come back later with a more significant comment.
You know I think the Monopoly money will have more worth than U.S. Dollars in near future. Maybe the FBI should have kept the money presses in "Catch Me If You Can" in running condition so it would have saved the FED from building more presses. The infamous Russian "Bread Lines" maybe the thing of reality in the good ol U.S. of A.
Katerina - I couldn't have said it any better than Missy just did....YOU GO GIRL! As one who believes in the entrepreneurial spirit this ridiculous spending has got to STOP along with an end to the "GOVERNMENT" knows what's best for me...NOT!!!
Only the conservatives can save this country from Marxism and reverse these bills before its too late.
Hi Nestor and Katerina
It's time for the Realtors to stand up and stand against the Great 2009 Scam Out.
Good luck and success
Lou Ludwig
Our favorite and dependable mortgage person lost their job today. 9 other folks were let go. Stimulate the economy? With what? A break for 1st time home owners that are not even looking? Give me a break, I am the eternal optimist, but, lately I am really having a HARD time seeing any type of stimulus. We will make it in SPITE of beaurocratic waste. Whew, I feel better...
Katrina,
I'm so glad to see you posting this. I've been writing on this subject for twenty years including twice last week. Presenting it so eloquently to your audience is a great public service!
Bill
Eileen- No, I can not run. I have too many skeletons in my closet. But I would love to do the social media for the campaigns. I would also love to be Sarah's campaign manager! Maybe after I write my book and spill the beans, after all, if our President can have the past he has and still get elected maybe my sins would also be forgiven:) Or maybe we are all ready for real people, the ones with skeletons in their closets.
America is in big trouble, this stimulus bill is a joke and I don't know what else is going to happen.
William- Thank you for your support! Sometimes it takes us to be really pushed up against a wall before we stand up for our rights. We can overcome this. We will. This is the turning point.
Missy- I am so glad about the Un fairness decision today!Thank heavens our 1st amendment right is still partially in tact. We are all getting energized, I feel the waves of change in the air and it is NOT the change that was shouted about during the campaign. This is the change that stirs within the heart of men and women when they have had enough.
Let us start now to prepare for 2010. The turncoats better not even think of running again for office. Their days in the Senate are numbered, the three of them. New conservatives that don't betray their voters will rise up and be counted and be in the election next time around.
Mary- Don't let your heart be troubled. The time is near at hand when good men stand up for something and take action, we will get all these betrayers of the American people out of congress and senate. You can not keep stealing from us and then expect our votes.I see young conservatives getting together and deciding to go into politics to make a difference.
Term limits is what is needed!
We have them here in Florida and it works great.
Wendy- Thanks for following me on Twitter. You can add #TCOT to your political tweets. You will get some great men and women to follow you who are invigorating and energetic.
Bruce- I am appalled at their ignorance and lack of knowing math past Kindergarten levels. I am appalled at their greed and eliteness that is such a disconnect from the American People!
Katerina,
What worries me is it might be more like a fulcrum than a turning point. If that's the case we're in for a long down hill slide.
Bill
Mirela- Thanks for the feature in your Optimist group! The days ahead may be long and the fight will be tiring, but we have optimism for we know that the majority of Americans feel the same way, they are going to take a stand, young and old, we will get our country back. We who are the backbone, the small business owners and the entrepreneurs who provide more jobs than any other sector, the ones who keep dreams alive know that we must turn the tables in 2010.
William- We shall stand to fight another day!
If you don't have skeleton in the closet, then I would think something is really wrong! :0) Yes, if Ms. Palin decides to run again, she will need a very organized campaign manager, SEO, good marketing... and very savvy public relation director!
Lydia- We won't let that happen here. There is hope and that hope is not in this present administration filled already with double standards, one for them, they don't have to pay their taxes, and one for us, we do have to pay our taxes because if we don't- we are unpatriotic! Hmmm, are they then unpatriotic? Now another one comes to light not paying his taxes and this one is the right hand man!
I feel the tide turning and if we start now; 2010 will be a great year!
Hi Eileen- Grass roots and social media, we are going to accept $1 donations not limit it to at least $20. There is work to be done and everyone will need to feel a part of it. If Obama can rise from obsurity to the highest office in the land so can any of us. The one thing he did do was teach me that with a brilliant social media marketing plan anything is possible. I have applied those same marketing systems to my business and the new conservatives will add it to their campaigns. There is much we need to teach the old GOP, it needs new blood, and a return to values and principles. The old guys who betrayed us are gonners, all losers need not apply!
Nicholas- and a new conservative movement is forming and going to take over the status quo of the do nothings and losers that betrayed all the conservative values by trying to play both sides of the values isle. God does not stand by those that turn their backs on him. Give to get.
Donna- Good to see you! I like your spunk, you can become a very proactive making a difference, especially in your area:) Reid's days in office are numbered. He needs to go to jail.
Lou- You are right. If you are a Realtor, then you own your own business, and if you own your own business you have the potential of hiring people and if you have the potential to hire people you must want to keep your money to do with it what you feel is in the best interest of those you hire, your family and your country not the government! I can not understand why any Realtor would not stand to fight this on its merits and the damage it will do to our country if we don't stop this waste.
Frank and Jodi- Don't give up. Find some candidates in your area who can run in 2010 and then get behind them and let our voices be heard. It is time to kick them all out and get a new conservative movement going.
Nestor, spot on! Well, with the exception of one thing - I am not desensitized - more like infuriated.
Katerina - the United States debt is now larger than the entire GDP of the rest of the planet. Just let that sink in for a moment. We owe more money than what would be generated by the entire production of the entire world excluding us for a whole year. Anyone scared yet?
Oh and Katerina - I am featuring this in Silent Majority and Blatant politics so congratulations to you!
Katrina,
Every Saint is a Sinner with a past. You go girl!!! I see some Saints emerging!!
Kat, you may be blonde and beautiful but you're very, very wise. I vote for the fact that they set up the printing press and send each family of America their very own million dollars. Now that would be a stimulous. Of course it'll be worth about $4,000 overall and each egg in the dozen is $500.00. ,
I just wish they would let it crash and repair on its own. It'll be a much less painless correction if we do it quickly. It would be nice to actually hit bottom and then there is only one way to go and that's up. Great post but you're making me think too much.
I'm going to bed. Goodnight all. Later in the rain~Deb
Hi Katerina, I couldn't agree with you more. Thanks for another great post.
Simon ~ Thanks for ruining my night with that bit of information. Truly, this is a frightening Congress and Presidency.
Simon- Thank you for the features! Now I got 3 features for this post, that is good, because hopefully more people will read and this will cause them to think. Thinking is good when it spurs action.
I know it is very scary, but we can turn some things around and repair some of the damage before it is too late or at least stop from more to come.
Katerina,
I thought you would find this interesting.
Unearthed 1998 Video: Stimulus Bill Fulfills Obama's Dream to Repeal Clinton Welfare Reform 02-16-2009 11:35 pm - Naked Emperor News
"There is a potential political opportunity that arose out of welfare reform."
I think I am going to stop paying my mortgage and car payment so I can take advantage of this Bill instead of only paying for it. (my great grand kids will be paying for it)
We are being enslaved for the rest of our lives. These fools are really messing things up.
I wonder if we would be in a better position if we would have let the first round of banks fall flat and collapse and let the markets reflect that and finally have been able to move forward instead of funding stadiums, bonuses, company jets, antique armoire's for office decor, etc...
Katerina,
It is truly frightening I really believe Obama is intent on destroying this country.
Hugh- That depends on from who's point of view. If you are a communist, fascist or even a socialist- he is saving the country. I really feel for liberatarians right about now! Ron Paul must be living his worst nightmare.
Whether you are a Reagonite or Clitonite, the bottom line is that these stimulus bills are filled with pork and haven't done a single thing to stimulate the housing market or the economy.
Ryan- All Reagonites and Clintonites have been betrayed! I feel change is in the air!
Katerina,
I agree completely. It is time for us to take our country back! Thanks for the post!
I got my first half-dozen signatures on the petition for my mayoral run last night. I'll be posting about my campaign in 2 weeks...
If you haven't seen this CNBC clip of Chicago correspondent Rick Santelli going off on the air about the new mortgage bailout plan, you simply must!

Tea Party anyone?
Katerina, Simon's words were chilling. The Obama video was enlightening. Naked Emperor sort of says it all. What a great name for a news source! Someone told me last week that the first stimulus bill is all old stuff. These plans have been laying in wait for such a time as this. The Dems are in control so they can do what they want...until 2010. There will be a back lash when the public quits drinking the kool aid and realizes what they have done.
Katerina, The foxes have been let loose in the chicken coop and nobody (figuratively) seems to care. If you have time watch this video, it explains why keeping people in debt is necessary to our monetary system. It's quite disturbing.....I sure as hell don't know what to do about it....I didn't vote them in!
Money as Debt
Jeff- You let me know what we can do to help you. I can write a post to get people to sign your mayor petition, you just never know who in your area may be reading my blog or following me on Twitter. We can also set up a donation box online to gather up any funds you may need to pay for your signs and mailers, etc.
I think it is going to take a lot of change to make it through this mess!!!
We need to revolt before its too late!!!!
Oh, here's a tidbit that will get blood shooting out of your eyes. My father worked for 10 years on his doctorate. He was a professor of Economics and History at Golden Gate University in the graduate program. His dissertation was entitled "Retirement of the first federal debt: A test of Vincent Ostrom's theory of democratic administration" Myers, Charles Joseph PH.D. Golden Gate University 1994. Of course, since they have now changed from GNP to GDP this research is out of date now, but still valuable. I am in contact with a lot of his friends from CATO and The Workshop for Political Theory at University of Indiana to keep my dad's topic alive since he passed away at 60 in 2005. He was in the midst of doing research for another book but was too ill to continue it. We lost a wealth of info when my dad passed. if you saw "A Beautiful Mind", you will understand what I am talking about-minus the Schitzophrenia~my father would have been very comfortable speaking with Professor Nash!
My point? Well, let's take something off the first page of the dissertation: "The original U.S. national debt was virtually paid off before 1837".....and although I don't have the figures in front of me, his figures showed that the debt was below $37,000 and may have been even lower during the Andrew Jackson administration. Just look at it now!!!
Well, there's my two cents. Best of luck to everyone~wishing you prosperity and health!
Katerina.. to be honest with all of this, I am just tired of it, sick of it, and as my dad said to me in an e-mail last week, feeling hopeless and helpless. I don't throw in the defeat towel often, but unless these politicians are ousted now, this will continue. It's the same people that outnumber the others that disagree. They just won't listen, not the powerful ones. They are in a power struggle now, loving that power, and I have no god damn freakin idea what they see or what or how they think. I guess common sense went right out the window on this one...
Have you been following the "tea party" stuff happening online? This could get some traction.
